What forms of payment do you take?

We accept cheques, Visa, Mastercard or email transfer

How do you screen your caregivers?

We have a very thorough screening process for our nannies and caregivers. We meet them in person for interviews, check their references and also do police clearances. We are happy to provide our clients with the nanny/caregiver’s reference numbers as well.

Which areas do you serve?

Uptown Caregivers Placement Agency is a Canada wide agency and can help families throughout the country in times of need.

Do you offer a guarantee if we hire a nanny through you?

Our company offers a three-month guarantee that starts from the nanny or caregiver’s first day of work. If you are not completely satisfied with the nanny or caregiver that you have selected, we will happily replace them free of charge within the first three months.

If we find a nanny on our own, can we hire your company to do the advertising and LMIA application?

Definitely! Uptown Caregivers offers various packages depending on the service you need. We would be happy to do the advertising and LMIA for you.

If I need emergency childcare what do I do?

Please call (647) 715-2126 ext 1 and we will be glad to help you out.

How far in advance/how much notice do you need to book babysitting?

Although we do place babysitters the same day, we do prefer 12 hours notice if possible.

Where do you find your temporary nannies?

Nannies come to our agency looking for full time work and we place them in temporary positions until we can find them a full time job.
